Ms. Duran is an outstanding teacher who currently works in a local Santa Clarita Valley school district. With a degree in Spanish she is a tremendous help to those learning a new language as well as though who speak Spanish as their first language. In addition to her foreign language skills, Ms. Duran specializes in the teaching of Algebra.

Mrs. Fu has practiced in the field of education for 13 years including functioning as a school psychologist at the elementary and high school level, teaching students with mild/moderate disabilities, English as a Second Language, and college level courses.

As a school psychologist she has conducted extensive psycho-educational evaluations, developed behavioral strategies and interventions to assist with modifying problem behaviors in the classroom, and has implemented empirically-based interventions based on standardized assessments.

Mrs. Fu has experience in the public school setting as well as with charter schools.

She is bilingual Spanish/English.

 There are two things about which Ms. Gonzalez in passionate: Math and Teaching. For her, the decision to become a Math teacher was obvious.  She says, "Helping someone understand a topic they thought was impossible to comprehend is the greatest job satisfaction I’ve experienced."

Ms. Gonzalez teaches every level of math.

Laura Lorenze is co-owner of Valencia Tutors. She is first and foremost a wife, mother and then a business woman. Laura has two little boys, Nathan and Nicholas and is married to Steve Lorenze, the founder and co-owner of Valencia Tutors.

Laura enjoys helping students realize their potential and is a strong believer in personal accountability. In addition to Valencia Tutors, Laura will also be opening the college counseling division of Valencia Tutors in the Fall. The college counseling division will walk families through the entire process of preparing and choosing a college or university which best meets the requirements of their student.

As a 21-year veteran teacher in the Santa Clarita Valley, Mrs. Reyna has taught grades 4, 6, 7, 8 & 9. She has also developed and taught professional development classes for teachers.

Tamara has always loved reading about history and is sure this has something to do with her passion for traveling.

Ms. Schroedter enjoys team sports and has coached several high school volleyball and basketball teams. 

She plays the clarinet and has marched during halftime at an NFL football game. 

Ms. Schroedter enjoys competition and has participated on chess, track and field, volleyball, basketball and softball teams.

Geometry and Trigonometry are her favorite subjects to teach while the beach is her favorite place to relax.

I Attended Dickinson State University in Dickinson, North Dakota and have a BA in Elementary Education with a Coaching minor. I also have a Multiple Subject California Teaching Credential and a North Dakota Teaching License.

What I love most about teaching is trying to find a new way to teach that student who doesn't understand something. I love to challenge all my students to meet their highest potential and surpass their expectations. I love to coach on the court and in the classroom.
