WASC \ NCAA \ HART DISTRICT

Valencia Tutors Learning Center offers over 40 High School Classes which are accredited by the Hart School District in Valencia’s Santa Clarita Valley, WASC K-12 Regional Accrediting Agency and the NCAA. Core, Honors, Advanced Placement and Credit Recovery levels of English, math, social science and Spanish meet the needs of diverse learners. We support each student for maximum success in completing classes for High School Graduation.

Additional Course Details

NUMBER OF STUDENTS

Classes that become too full or a minimum number of students are re-directed to an alternate section.


INSTRUCTIONAL PACING

Students are required to maintain certain competency levels. If levels are not maintained, the student must attend on Fridays 1:00 – 3:00 PM to reinforce educational concepts and get back on pace level.


FRIDAY CLASSES

2 Hours of instruction time is offered each and every Friday. * Additional cost for Friday instruction. This is beneficial to students who need to get back on pace or students who seek to improve their understanding of a subject and also prepare for exams.


ATTENDANCE

Courses are taught at an accelerated pace during the summer. Missed sessions significantly impact progress and success. Any missed classes MUST be made-up on Friday of the same week.


MISSED CLASSES

Students are required to make-up classes on Fridays. * Additional cost for missed classes.
